The Auburn Beautification Commission was established in 2007 as a City of Auburn Commission for the purpose of identifying, coordinating and funding beautification projects supplemental to beautification procedures conducted by City departments. The group quickly gained momentum and applied for Not-for-Profit status in 2008 so that it would be eligible to apply for and receive grants, donations and collect sponsorship dues to support their mission of beautifying Auburn.
Currently, ABC operates as a 501(c)3 charitable corporation with a 12 member board of directors. These members represent a cross section of community members that share a common interest and dedication to make Auburn a more beautiful place to live, work and play. We are an all-volunteer organization with minimal administrative expenses, with an operating budget that is 100% funded by grants, sponsorships and donations. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the ABC, there are several levels to choose from. Check out our Get Involved page to select a level that is right for you.
Since its inception, the ABC has completed a number of projects both independently and cooperatively with other entities. Please visit our Projects page for the most current projects implemented by the ABC and their partners.
